This weekend, Justice Admar Gonzaga will be in Asunción, capital of Paraguay, in order to accompany the General Elections that will happen this Sunday (22nd). Representing the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), the Justice will participate as a guest-observer of the Misión de Observación Electoral Internacional – Elecciones Generales Y Departamentales 2018.
The Paraguayan voters will go to the ballots in other to elect their president and vice-president of the Republic, senators, deputies, parliamentarians that represent Mercosur, governors, and members of the so-called Parliamentary Boards.
Beyond Brazil, other countries will also participate as guests: Argentina, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Peru, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Chile, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, El Salvador, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama and Colombia.
Before the voting, the international observers have an extensive schedule in order to know how the vote of that country works. This Friday, the electoral authorities of Paraguay and also the main party candidates will reunite themselves.
The guests will also visit many voting places and will accompany the electoral process until the disclosure of the preliminary results.
